Pine Labs. While Baron Funds hiked its valuation to $5.8 billion, Invesco has raised it to $4.8 billion as of December 2023, regulatory filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission showed. Baron Funds had valued Pine Labs at $5.3 billion in September last year. On January 4, ET reported that Invesco had cut the valuation of Pine Labs to $3.9 billion as of October 31.

India Meteorological Department has forecast a heatwave in several regions, including North Goa, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has alerted Mumbai and several other regions in Maharashtra about impending heat conditions on April 15 and April 16, 2024. Indian Staffing Federation (ISF) said on Monday. ISF, the apex industry body representing manpower outsourcing industry, released the Flexi Staffing Industry Employment growth report for Q3 FY2024 (October-December 2023). The staffing industry witnessed a 3.6 per cent growth in December quarter FY24 in comparison to July-September period, recording a robust demand for flexi (contract) workforce, ISF said in a statement.
