Canada hand found in Sikh separatism, Tamil war, Mujibur killing
Trudeau government has been seriously misled by its agencies on the killing of known terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. While the Canadian Prime Minister's statement contains several qualifications such as «credible evidence», «allegations' and „potential link“, the Indian government and its agencies have absolutely no doubt about the links of Nijjar with terrorist activities in India. These are not only well-documented but have been shared repeatedly with Canadian authorities.

Jann Wenner removed from Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation's board of directors, Rolling Stone magazine co-founder apologises
This development follows an interview with Wenner in The New York Times where he discussed his upcoming book, «The Masters,» featuring interviews with exclusively white male musicians, including Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, and Bono. The interviewer questioned Wenner about the absence of interviews with women or individuals from diverse backgrounds in the book. Jann Wenner, co-founder of Rolling Stone, issued an apology in response to the controversy surrounding his comments about Black and female musicians not being «articulate» enough to be featured in his new book. This apology was made on Saturday night, shortly after the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation announced his removal from its board of directors. Wenner stated that he formed his opinion based on his personal intuition and his observations from interviews and music listening. He further acknowledged that he might have included a Black musician and a female musician in his book purely for public relations reasons to prevent criticism.

The Rolling Stones show no inkling of gathering moss
Rockstars can be confusing, conflicting, and seen to be regularly contradicting each other in what older legends once called 'being dialectical'. Much like religions. Classic rock legends Jethro Tull got it all wrong when they famously titled their 1976 album, Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young to Die! The living proof of that error is the Rolling Stones. Last week, the Stones released the single, 'Angry', from their forthcoming album, Hackney Diamonds — their 26th studio album and with new material after 18 years — due for release on October 20.

Chandrayaan-1 data shows Earth's electrons are forming water on Moon. Here's how
Chandrayaan-3' s predecessor Chandrayaan-1. The team led by researchers from the University of Hawai'i (UH) at Manoa in the US discovered that these electrons in Earth's plasma sheet are contributing to weathering processes -- breaking down or dissolving of rocks and minerals -- on the Moon's surface. The research, published in the journal Nature Astronomy, found that the electrons may have aided the formation of water on the lunar body.

Students watch an orbit shorten
Nasa estimated that the impact would shorten the orbit by about 10 minutes. When astronomers started observing the asteroid several hours after the impact, they found that the orbit had indeed shortened—in fact, Nasa reports a reduction of about 32 minutes, to about 11 hours and 23 minutes. As you might expect, that number is not precise—these rocks are 11 million km away, after all.

Food prices won't see sharp rise during festival season: Secretary
While the country has 85 lakh tonnes of sugar, enough for three and a half months, it has imported sufficient edible oil taking advantage of the rock bottom global prices. The September rains have allayed any concern about productivity of sugarcane in the upcoming sugar year which starts from October, Chopra added. Recently sugar prices rose due to rumours of crop failure and shortage. Data compiled by Solvent Extractors’ Association of India (SEA) showed that India imported 18.52 lakh tonnes (lt) of edible oil in August, against 13.75 lt a year ago, registering a growth of 34.69 per cent.

Weirdly Shaped Office Chairs Are Popular on TikTok. Are They Actually Good for You?
SIMPLY SITTING down seems like it should require no expertise or deep consideration. But just as working has become synonymous with being chained to a desk (or kitchen table), sitting has been deemed “unhealthy." While some designers, disrupting convention, are creating standing and treadmill desks that dispense with sitting altogether, there’s a middle ground: so-called “active chairs," that employ a range of strategies to make the act of sitting not so sedentary.

Cracker Barrel Is Stuck in a Generation Gap
It isn’t a good sign when a restaurant chain’s investors ask management about the effect of Social Security checks on its future prospects. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has long thrived on its unique formula and down-home charm. For example, it proudly touts not only how many biscuits, eggs and strips of bacon it sells but also the number of rocking chairs and wooden puzzles—around 70,000 and 300,000 a year, respectively.

Amazon’s Makeover of Lord & Taylor Building Shows Challenge of Office Conversions
