D-Street indices ride high on US Fed’s jumbo rate cut
bond yields retreated to a nearly 31-month low Thursday after the US central bank unexpectedly cut rates by half a percentage point overnight. But broader local gauges and export-laden technology counters fell over concerns the outsized reduction re flects hitherto unknown growth challenges in the world’s biggest economy. “Since quantum of the cut is bigger than expectations, it implies concerns of a growth slowdown in the US economy, which led to the initial subdued reaction in markets today,” said Pankaj Pandey, head of retail research, ICICI Securities.

The ITI represents the likes of Google, Meta, Dell Technologies, HP, AMD, Applied Materials and others.

Trump is still in danger, according to experts following the second assassination attempt
Over the course of about two months, there have been two known attempts on the life of the former president Donald Trump, and experts told Fox News Digital that he may still be at risk of more. This is not the final effort that will be made. They will not stop pursuing him, said Gene Petrino, a 26-year veteran of Florida's Plantation Police Department and an authority on active shooter situations, in a Fox News Digital interview on Tuesday. Other people are going to see it that way, and the only responsible thing to do is now increase even more his security footprint. Suspect Ryan Routh allegedly pointed a rifle towards the 45th president on Sunday just outside the club's perimeter, but Trump was safely escorted from the green at his West Palm Beach, Florida, golf club. Routh ran away from the scene but was caught on I-95 shortly after. Also Read :When is the next Federal Reserve meeting? Will rates be slashed further, here's all you need to know

Modifying the rules, the regulator said, «valuation of securities, other than unlisted securities and listed securities which are non-traded and thinly traded, for which valuation norms have been prescribed under Sebi (Mutual Funds) Regulations shall be carried out as per the norms prescribed under MF rules».
