UBS was on a selling spree on Friday as the Zurich-based bank and financial services company sold its holding in four stocks through UBS Principal Capital Asia Limited via block deals. The stocks included Concord Biotech, Five Star Business Finance, IIFL Securities and Marksans Pharma and the total share sale aggregated to Rs 480 crore. UBS Principal sold 7,40,159 lakh shares worth Rs 192 crore at a price of Rs 2,589.86 per share which was a 15% premium over the Thursday closing price of Rs 2,250.55. The stock today ended at Rs 2,591, gaining Rs 340.45 or 15.13%.

Adani Total Gas Ltd, the city gas joint venture of Adani group and French energy giant TotalEnergies, on Friday said it has secured USD 375 million funding from global lenders for expansion of its business. «The maiden financing of USD 375 million executed with international lenders include an initial commitment of USD 315 million with accordion feature to enhance the commitments,» the firm said in a statement. Five international lenders participated in the initial financing — BNP Paribas, DBS Bank, Mizuho Bank, MUFG Bank, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

Adani Total Gas Ltd (ATGL), the equal joint venture between Adani Group and French energy major Total Energies, has raised Rs 3131 crore ($375 million) from BNP Paribas, DBS Bank, Mizuho Bank, MUFG Bank, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, the company said on Friday. Patel Engineering on Friday said it has bagged an order of Rs 240 crore for a hydropower project from state-owned entity NHPC in Sikkim. The order will be completed within a time frame of 18 months, Patel Engineering said in an exchange filing. «NHPC Ltd has declared Patel Engineering as L1 for a Rs 240.02 crore contract for the works involving modification of diversion tunnel into tunnel spillway arrangement — Civil and Hydro Mechanical works for Package 6 — TEESTA-V Power Station, SIKKIM,» it said. Patel Engineering has a strong presence in irrigation, tunnels and underground works for hydroelectric and dam projects.
