Kotak Mahindra Bank, including three managers, have been arrested in connection with cyber fraud, as per Gurugram Police, PTI reported. The arrested suspects have been identified as Mohit Rathi (25) from Haryana, Mahesh Kumar (27) from Gurugram, Vishwkarma Maurya (26) from Uttar Pradesh, and Hayat (23) from Haryana’s Nuh, as per the report. Rathi was an assistant manager at Kotak Mahindra Bank's MG Road Branch, while Maurya and Kumar were deputy managers.

Imphal West Police Commando Personnel on Wednesday laid down their arms against the firing attack by an armed mob on the residence of Additional SP (Operations) Amit Moirangthem in Wangkhei Tokpam Leikai on Tuesday. Moirangthem and one of his escorts were abducted by the miscreants but were later rescued. The commandos are upset and said that they should have been allowed to retaliate against the miscreants. Commandos of Thoubal, Kakching and Bishnupur District also joined the gun-down protest.

Oil prices eased early on Thursday after a larger-than-expected build in U.S. crude stockpiles stoked worries about slow demand, while signs that U.S. interest rates could remain elevated for longer also added to pressure. Brent crude futures fell 22 cents, or 0.3%, to $83.46 a barrel by 0124 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures were down 30 cents, or 0.4%, to $78.24 a barrel.

China has rolled over a $2 billion loan to Pakistan, caretaker finance minister Shamshad Akhtar confirmed in a response to Reuters on Thursday. The $2 billion loan was due in March and has been extended for one year, Geo News which first reported the news said, citing sources in the Pakistan finance ministry. Beijing had communicated the decision to Islamabad, it added.
