Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 89.25 points up at 20192.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters. HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) the investment manager to HDFC Mutual Fund, has launched HDFC Pharma and Healthcare Fund. In a statement, the AMC said HDFC Pharma and Healthcare Fund is an open-ended equity scheme that will invest in pharma and healthcare-related companies with a bottom-up approach for stock selection.

Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. traded 2.05 per cent up at Rs 1232.35 on Friday at around 12:28PM (IST), while the benchmark BSE Sensex advanced 258.92 points to 67777.92. As many as 45,478 shares changed hands on the counter with a total value of Rs 554.0 crore. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1239.8 and a 52-week low of Rs 658.0. On the technical charts, the 200-DMA of the stock stood at Rs 916.08, while 50-DMA was at Rs 1115.24.

Day trading guide for today: Following strong global cues, Dalal Street witnessed participatory rally on Thursday.
