Marico shares drop 0.14% as Sensex rises
Marico Ltd. traded 0.14 per cent lower in Friday's session at 01:09PM (IST).
The stock opened at Rs 579.05 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 583.5 and Rs 576.6, respectively, during the session so far.
The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 591.7 and a 52-week low of 462.95. About 24,108 shares changed hands on the counter so far.
Benchmark Nifty50 was up 50.85 points at 20153.95, while the BSE Sensex traded 183.28 points higher at 67702.28 at the time of writing of this report.
In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks traded the day in the green, while 20 were in the red.
Key Financials For the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2523.0 crore, up 9.32 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 2308.0 crore and up 2.02 per cent from the year-ago quarter.
The company reported net profit of Rs 427.0 crore for the latest quarter.
Promoter Holdings Promoters held 59.42 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2023, while FIIs held 24.96 per cent and MFs 3.29 per cent.
Technicals On the technical charts, the 200-Day Moving Average (DMA) of the stock stood at Rs 521.87 on September 15, while the 50-DMA was at Rs 559.92. If a stock trades above 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means the immediate trend is upward.
