Marico shares gain 0.52% as Sensex falls

Marico Ltd. traded at Rs 581.65 on BSE at 12:48PM (IST) on Tuesday, up 0.52 per cent.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 462.95 and a high of Rs 591.7.
Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.
At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 55.4 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 10.5 per share and 16.29 times its book value, as per BSE data.
A total of 25,929 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:48PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 75237.06 crore and is part of the Personal Care industry.
The scrip has been an underperformer, up 10.51 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 10.82 per cent gain in Sensex.
During the day, the stock moved between Rs 582.7 and Rs 573.3.
Promoter/FII Holding Promoters held 59.39 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2023.

FII and MF ownership in Marico Ltd. stood at 24.96 per cent and 3.29 per cent, respectively.
