Jordanluca which is a high-end fashion brand has released a pair of such jeans as part of its Fall/Winter 2023-2024 collection. It is priced at over $800 and is normal, except a stain of pee that appears near the pelvic area. It appears as if the individual has wet that area, near the pelvic region. This has been reported by USA today. Further, it has been revealed that this design has been sold out. This has sparked a debate on TikTok and other social media platforms. Many users found the design to be appalling and questioned the psychology of those purchasing it. While other users supported the design calling it as aesthetic. 56% of online shoppers found ratings on eComm sites to be positively biased: LocalCircles survey
online shoppers surveyed by community social media platform LocalCircles said they found ratings on the eCommerce sites and apps to be positively biased over the last 12 months, according to survey findings. Only nine per cent of eCommerce or online users said platforms have enabled an interface to easily spot sponsored or influencer reviews and ratings, while just 16 per cent of consumers felt their negative reviews were always published in the last year. The survey assumes significance given that the government is considering making it mandatory for e-commerce companies to comply with quality norms for consumer reviews after a voluntary push failed to effectively curb fake reviews. "...56 per cent of online shoppers surveyed byLocalCircles...say they have found ratings on the eCommerce sites/ apps to be positively biased in the last 12 months," according to a release by LocalCircles.

Curb deepfake velocity, vulnerability and viciousness
Trust is at the core of the diffusion of any innovation in any sector, particularly so in the case of technology. If this trust is compromised, diffusion will fail, no matter how useful it is. In today’s age of digitally generated deepfakes, the old adage “seeing is believing" is under siege.

GameStop Shares Surge After 'Roaring Kitty' Reemerges
GameStop's share price skyrocketed Monday after the man who became the face of "meme stock" mania in 2021 with his enthusiastic promotion of the struggling video game retailer emerged from a three-year hiatus. On Sunday evening, Keith Gill, the trader known on some social media platforms as Roaring Kitty, posted an illustration of a person holding a video game controller while leaning forward on a chair on the social media platform X. On no other news, GameStop's stock more than doubled in early trading, prompting several temporary volatility-related halts by the New York Stock Exchange. The shares were up about 74% at the close, adding billions in market value in a matter of hours.
