Radico Khaitan expects sales of ₹500 crore from its luxury brands, including single malt 'Rampur' and Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin, in the next fiscal, its managing director Abhishek Khaitan said. The company expects an 8-9%volume growth, and value growth of around «12-15%», Khaitan told PTI, adding that «this year has been a good year for us, and hopefully next year should be much better.» For the next fiscal, he said, «We expect the same thing, our premium PNA category (Prestige & above) should grow more than 15% and we should be close to overall double-digit growth.»

Coal India Limited on Sunday said that non-power sector (NPS) consumers will not have to pay the coal value worth ten days of supply as financial coverage for the dry fuel received via rail transport. «With the waiver of financial coverage, CIL takes an important step towards reducing transactional complexities and fostering an environment that encourages smooth and efficient business operations,» the PSU said in a statement. The latest decision is one more step in Coal India Ltd's ongoing efforts to streamline operations under the broader ease of doing business initiative, the company said. «This also helps to reduce the financial burden for NPS consumers and improve their cash liquidity,» Coal India Ltd (CIL) noted.

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Sunday said he was a loyal Congress worker and anyone questioning his dedication to the party and the Gandhi family is in illusion. Coal India arm NCL will soon commence its Rs 24,000-crore rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R) project to relocate from Morwa township in Madhya Pradesh's Singrauli, a top company official said on Sunday. The relocation, under the 'Singrauli Punarasthapan' project, will involve shifting around 50,000 people and 22,500 houses from the township spread across 927 hectares. Singrauli sits atop around 600 million tonnes of mineable coal. «This is a huge project estimated at Rs 24,000 crore. We are in the advanced stages of negotiations with all four residents' associations regarding benefits and relaxations in documentation requirements. The good thing is that people have agreed to relocate,» Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL) Chairman and Managing Director B Sairam told PTI. The township's relocation was necessitated as NCL's Jayant coal mine is expanding and expected to come within 500 metres of the residential area in the next two years, which would hinder mining operations, he said.

ACME Solar on Sunday said it has planned an investment of Rs 17,000 crore on capital expenditure in FY26 with a focus on hybrid and round-the-clock renewable capacities. The company is also evaluating entry in nuclear energy segment, though these plans are at a drawing board level, ACME Solar said in a statement. ACME Solar Holdings plans to invest Rs 17,000 crore to boost renewable energy capacity to 5 GigaWatts by 2027. As a broader strategy, ACME Solar aims to treble its current renewable capacity to reach 7 GW by 2028, according to the statement. «We intend to focus our new capacities on the revenue and margin accretive hybrid and FDRE (Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy) projects as a critical pivot in our business strategy,» CEO Nikhil Dhingra said.

Odisha government on Saturday launched a website for the issuance of new ration cards. Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister KC Patra said this website will help in enrolling the eligible people who have been left out. He also said that by the end of this month, all pending work related to e-KYC verification will be completed. Names of lakhs of ineligible people have been deleted from the list of beneficiaries, Patra said, adding that errors in the list will be rectified soon.

The Urban Development Department of the Delhi government said that building construction activity is regulated by the MCD and other local bodies in their respective jurisdictions under the DMC Act provisions through the finalisation of a layout plan, sanction of building plan and issuing completion certificate. «There is no provision under the DMC Act, 1957 by which a person is required to seek permission from police for carrying out the construction,» it said.
