Both countries on Monday ordered out six diplomats in tit-for-tat moves over Ottawa's allegations that New Delhi was targeting Indian dissidents on Canadian soil. Trudeau specifically tied the six to the murder of Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar last year in British Columbia. Sanjay Kumar Verma, India's envoy to Canada, told CTV that Trudeau had been relying on intelligence rather than evidence.

CJI Chandrachud prayed to God for Ram Mandir- Babri masjid solution
Dhananjay Chandrachud said on Saturday that he sat before God (in his home) and asked him to find a solution to the vexed Ram Janmabhoomi- Babri Masjid dispute when the case came up before a bench led by Justice Ranjan Gogoi in which Chandrachud was one of the justices. The other members of the bench were Justices S A Bobde, Ashok Bhushan and SA Nazeer. Speaking in an event where he was felicitated by villagers of his native village Kanesar in Pune, Chandrachud said, “I became the Chief justice… Many times it happens that we get cases and what is the way out of it, we don’t get a solution. In Ayodhya (Ramjanmabhoomi- Babri Masjid case) when it came before me, for three months, we were thinking about the Ayodhya case, meaning for hundreds of years for which there was no solution. At that time in my regular life, I have been worshipping God in my home and at that time I sat before God and I told him that he should find a solution for this and you will believe this if you have faith then God will always find a way for us”said Chandrachud who is set to retire on November 10.

Zerodha's Nikhil Kamath criticised for buying house despite promoting renting for years. Netizens say 'benefits of being a billionaire'
Nikhil Kamath, the co-founder of Zerodha, has long been an advocate for renting over buying a home. Known for his outspoken views on real estate, Kamath surprised many when he recently announced that he has purchased his first house. This unexpected move has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with critics accusing him of hypocrisy and double standards. In a recent episode of his podcast, 'WTF is with Nikhil Kamath,' the 37-year-old entrepreneur explained the reasons behind his change of heart. «The thing with renting, of all the advantages of renting, there is one disadvantage: you don’t have foresight as to when you can move out of the house,» he noted. This lack of stability, he argued, led him to reconsider the benefits of homeownership. During the episode, Kamath shared his experience of having to move out of his previous rental home, a situation he described as frustrating. «I had to move out of this house, whereas I might have liked to stay longer in this house,» he added, reflecting on the emotional challenges that accompany frequent relocations.

The agriculture ministry said this year's flooding has resulted in a substantial loss of rice production. In response, the government is moving quickly to import 500,000 tons of rice and is expected to permit private sector imports soon, a food ministry official said.
