Sobha Ltd surged 3.5% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in early trading on Friday, buoyed by its stellar operational update for the first quarter of financial year 2024 (Q1FY24). The Bengaluru-focused company clocked its best-ever pre-sales in value-terms at Rs1,465 crore, up 28% year-on-year. However, the rise was marginal on a sequential basis.  This performance was supported by the highest-ever price realization for the company at Rs10,506 per square foot on a total saleable area of 1,394,117 square feet.

New Delhi: The coal production from captive and commercial coal mines have been steadily increasing over the years, registering a 216 per cent growth in the last six years, Minister for Coal and Mines, Pralhad Joshi said Thursday.  In a tweet, minister Joshi highlighted that a total of 86 coal mines have been successfully auctioned under commercial coal mining, offering a potential annual revenue of ₹34,188 crore to various states across the country.  In a meeting with senior officials of the ministry of coal, the minister reviewed the performance of coal production from these mines and deliberated on strategies to further increase production by 39% in the current fiscal year.

Notably, the DeFi sector contributed $2.94 billion, accounting for 7.78% of the overall market volume,» Shivam Thakral, CEO of BuyUcoin, said. «Adding to the excitement, Bitcoin surpassed the $31,000 mark, driven by the euphoria surrounding the application for a Bitcoin ETF. This achievement further fuels optimism and interest in the cryptocurrency market,» he added.
