Iran's gas stations went out of service on Monday following possible sabotage — a reference to cyberattacks, Iranian state TV reported. The report said a «software problem» caused the irregularity in the gas stations. It urged people not to rush to the stations that were still operational.

ARC Electric, an electric cab services company catering to the corporate sector aims to strategically expand its fleet. It plans to target corporates in Hyderabad and Bengaluru with an ambition to introduce more than 5,000 EVs within the next 18-24 months. 

GoMechanic has announced the launch of ‘Electric Vehicle Services’ for India’s key fleet operators in the EV space. Under its new expansion strategy, GoMechanic will enlarge its service portfolio from ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) to EVs (Electric Vehicles) for leading Industry fleet leaders.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders (MDL) has signed individual Shipbuilding Contracts with the European client for the construction of three units of 7,500 DWT Multi-Purpose Hybrid Powered Vessels on December 14, 2023, for a value of approximately $42 million," the company said in an exchange filing. The nature of the order involves a comprehensive process of designing, building, and delivering these advanced vessels upon completion, Mazagon Dock said. The first vessel delivery is scheduled for 27 months after the effectiveness of the contract. At 10.37 am, the scrip was trading 3% higher at Rs 2,143.5 on BSE. On a year-to-date basis, the stock has delivered multibagger returns of 170%.

China has aimed to diminish dependence on foreign technologies by urging state-affiliated entities, including banks, to transition to local software and fostering the development of domestic semiconductor chip manufacturing, adds the report. In the past month or two, employees in various state firms and government departments across at least eight provinces have been directed to use local brands, according to the Bloomberg News report.

Short term traders can look to buy the stock now or on dips for a possible target above 500 once Rs 499 is breached – which is the July record high. The stock hit a record high of Rs 499 on 24 July 2023 but it failed to hold on to the momentum.

₹6,000 crore in renewable power projects, targeting a capacity of 1,000 MW. The investment encompasses a diverse portfolio of solar and wind power projects strategically positioned across Gujarat and Rajasthan. The lineup includes a 600 MW Solar Power project and 150 MW Wind Power project in Gujarat and a 250 MW Solar Power project in Rajasthan, Ambuja Cements said in a regulatory filing on Monday.
