Jefferies turns white knight for Mamaearth, screams buy with Rs 520 target
Honasa Consumer, which runs Mamaearth and other brands, today fell up to 15% but recovered after global brokerage firm Jefferies issued a report initiating coverage on the beauty and personal care products company. After falling 15% to the day's low at Rs 256.10 in the morning session, Mamaearth shares rallied up to around 4% to Rs 313.50 at noon. «Honasa should report industry-leading growth at 27% over the next 3 years. We value at 6x Sep-25 EV/sales (at a discount to HPC peers; implies 67x FY26 PE) to arrive at a price target of Rs 520,» Jefferies said, while calling it a high conviction buy. Led by founder-couple Varun and Ghazal Alagh, Honasa has prioritised growth over profitability, which Jefferies said is the correct strategy.

United Spirits share price plunged almost 7 per cent in morning trade on BSE on Friday, November 10, as investors offloaded shares of the company in the wake of its September quarter earnings which showed a significant year-on-year (YoY) fall in standalone revenue and profit. In an exchange filing on Wednesday, November 8, United Spirits said its standalone revenue from operations dropped almost 19 per cent YoY to ₹6,733.8 crore. In the same quarter last year, the company's revenue from operations was at ₹8,275.9 crore.

At 9:30 am, MCX December gold futures were trading at Rs 60,218 per 10 gram, down by Rs 64 or 0.11% from the Thursday closing price. Meanwhile, the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 71,120 per kg, lower by Rs 93 or 0.13%. On Comex, gold futures were trading at $1,951.30 per troy ounce on Friday, down by $6.50 or 0.33% while silver futures were trading at $22.545, lower by $0.183 or 0.810%. The dollar index was trading flat at 105.89 against a basket of top six currencies, down by 0.02 points or 0.02%. The December gold futures ended at Rs 60,327 on the MCX on Thursday, up by Rs 318 or 0.53% while the December Silver futures settled at Rs 71,390, higher by Rs 177 or 0.25%. «Spot gold was able to find support at the crucial level of $1945.
