Tresa Motors Monday unveiled its first electric commercial vehicle, the Model V0.1. Maruti Suzuki's sales volume has nearly doubled in the quarter ended June 30, boosted by strong demand for the Brezza, Grand Vitara, Fronx and Jimny — all launched in the past one year. While the share of SUVs in Maruti Suzuki's sales rose to 22.4% in the first quarter of fiscal 2024 from 12.6% a year earlier, that of small cars — for long the bread and butter of the nation's top passenger vehicle maker — fell to 53.2% from 58.8%. Reliance Retail-owned robotics firm Addverb expects to cross Rs 8,000-crore revenue mark in five years, with scaling up of manufacturing operations and diversifying target market base, a senior company official said.
