BSE shares was brought to a screeching halt on Monday after market regulator Sebi asked the bourse to pay regulatory fee based on notional turnover and not premium turnover. Preliminary calculations done by the stock exchange shows that it could lead to an additional payout of Rs 165 crore plus GST. Based on the annual turnover considering notional value of option contracts, the total differential Sebi regulatory fees from FY 2006-07 to FY 2022-23, would be approximately Rs 68.64 crore plus GST, which includes interest of Rs 30.34 crore. For FY24, the differential Sebi regulatory fees for the year could be around Rs 96.30 crore plus GST.

On the technical charts, the 200-DMA of the stock stood at Rs 3889.41, while the 50-DMA was at Rs 4217.23. If a stock trades above 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means the immediate trend is upward. Supreme Industries share price: Shares of Supreme Industries continued witnessing strong buying interest on Monday, April 29, as the stock jumped over 8 per cent in morning trade on BSE, buoyed by the company's healthy March quarter result. Supreme Industries share price opened at ₹4,430.55 against its previous close of ₹4402.30 and rose over 8 per cent to hit the day's high of ₹4,758.85 in Monday's trade so far. Around 11:30 am, Supreme Industries share price traded 7.88 per cent higher at ₹4,749 apiece.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise fell over 8 percent in intra-day trading today (April 29) after the firm announced that it will raise ₹2,475 crore (approximately $300 million) through private equity firm Advent International for its unit Apollo HealthCo. This unit manages Apollo's Apollo 24/7 vertical. Additionally, there are plans to merge Keimed, a promoter-owned wholesale pharma distribution business, with Apollo HealthCo over the next 24 to 30 months.

SRF Ltd. slipped 0.72 per cent to Rs 2618.3 in Monday's trade as of 11:46AM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 2669.4 and low of Rs 2611.65 during the session.

Jubilant Foodworks Ltd. gained 0.69 per cent to Rs 440.3 at 11:36AM (IST) in Monday's trade. The scrip hit a high of Rs 443.3 and low of Rs 437.95 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 437.25 in the previous session. The counter had a total traded volume of 11:36AM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 0.35 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 131.46 and a price-to-book ratio of 14.26.

Ircon International shares surged over 6% to Rs 266.9 on BSE following the announcement of a significant order win worth Rs 1,198 crore by its joint venture. «Ircon International Limited (IRCON) under its Joint Venture with Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon Pvt Ltd (DRA) i.e. Ircon-DRA JV has been awarded the LOA for the construction of Kottavalasa-Koraput Doubling Project from Km 45.483 to Km 72.550 from Shivalingapuram Station to Borraguhalu Station in connection with Kottavalasa Koraput Doubling Project of Waltair Division, East Coast Railway on EPC mode at a quoted bid price of Rs 1198.09 Crores,» the company said in an exchange filing.

Tata Power Company Ltd. gained 2.24 per cent to Rs 446.55 at 11:52AM (IST) in Monday's trade. The counter has hit a high of Rs 447.65 and low of Rs 437.3 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 436.75 in the previous session. The counter has had a total traded volume of 578470 shares so far with a value of Rs 25.59 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 38.53 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.11.

BSE tumbled 19% to Rs 2,612 in Monday's trade on NSE after the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) asked BSE to pay a regulatory fee to the former based on the annual turnover fee considering «notional value» in the case of the options contract. This is the biggest single-day drop the stock has seen since its listing in 2017. BSE in its filing to the exchanges on Friday stated that the regulator has also asked the company to pay a differential regulatory fee for the past periods with the applicable interest of 15% per annum on the amount remaining unpaid or belatedly paid or short paid for every month of delay.

Voltas Ltd. gained 0.29 per cent to Rs 1460.1 in Monday's session as of 10:30AM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 527.1 points higher at 74257.26. Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap up start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1477.4 and a 52-week low of Rs 745.0 on NSE. Around 42957 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:30AM (IST).
