A 445% price jump makes tomatoes more pricey than gasoline in India
tomato prices are soaring due to adverse weather, triggering a wave of social media memes comparing the cost of the essential ingredient with anything from petrol to political influence. Heavy rains in some growing areas and hotter-than normal temperatures last month hit output of the crop, causing a fivefold increase in prices this year. Tomatoes usually become expensive in the lean production months of June and July, but the impact this year has been exaggerated.

Earth hit an unofficial record high temperature this week – and stayed there
Sweltering heat is blanketing much of the planet, and one unofficial analysis says the past seven days have been the hottest week on record, the latest grim milestone in a series of climate-change-driven extremes. On Thursday, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration distanced itself from the designation, compiled by the University of Maine’s Climate Reanalyzer, which uses satellite data and computer simulations to measure the world’s condition. That metric showed that Earth’s average temperature on Wednesday remained at an unofficial record high, 62.9 degrees Fahrenheit (17.18 degrees Celsius), set the day before.

Golteum’s (GLTM) Proof-of-Reserve Mechanism Exemplifies True Accountability In Web3
Golteum (GLTM) adopting Proof-of-Reserve mechanisms. That would further explain why crypto investors are picking interest in the OKB and GLTM, which are the utility tokens of these platforms. >>> BUY GLTM TOKENS NOW<<< Centralized Crypto Exchange OKX, which happens to be the issuer of OKB, has made waves in the Web3 space with the services it provides to its users and its role in onboarding new players into the Web3 space. Furthermore, the crypto exchange helps eliminate the technicalities associated with the space as it has an excellent interface that makes it easy for users to navigate while accessing DeFi features. However, there is still a sense of skepticism among crypto investors despite the proof-of-reserve mechanism implemented by the crypto exchange. The fall of fellow centralized crypto exchange FTX has dampened the morale of some investors regarding these exchanges, and they are looking to invest in more secure tokens than OKX’s OKB token.

Seventeen breaks records with over 6 million album sales. See why is it special
Seventeen, the sensational K-pop group, continues to make history in the music industry. Following their record-breaking first-week sales on the Hanteo chart with FML, the group has now achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first K-pop artist ever to sell over 6 million copies of a single album. The achievement was confirmed by YG PLUS, Seventeen's album distributor, who revealed that the Pledis Entertainment group has surpassed the extraordinary milestone of selling 6.2 million copies of their 10th mini album, FML, within a mere three months. This remarkable accomplishment solidifies their status as trendsetters in the industry and demonstrates the unwavering support from their dedicated fanbase. It seems Seventeen's leader, S.Coups, was right when he mentioned the group's subtle and steady growth. Previously, FML had already made waves in the music scene by breaking the record for the highest first-week sales on the Hanteo chart. Furthermore, Seventeen had even surpassed BTS' long-standing record for the most pre-ordered K-pop album, accumulating an impressive 4.64 million pre-orders. However, their achievement was soon outdone by Stray Kids, who achieved over 5 million pre-orders for their third studio album, 5 STAR. The highly-anticipated 10th mini album, FML, marked Seventeen's comeback on April 24. With its captivating double title tracks, «Super,» the album generated substantial excitement among fans. In addition to these hit tracks, FML also featured three unit songs, namely «Fire» by the Hip-hop Team, «Dust» by the Vocal Team, and «I Don't Understand but I Luv U» by the Performance Team. The album's diverse and melodic content was further enriched by the inclusion of the group number "April Shower."

China’s Brain Drain Threatens Its Future
Is China reopening to the world or turning inward again? Many would argue the latter, but in one important way, the country is still going global: Residents appear to be leaving at a faster clip than they have in years, including a significant number of the wealthy and well-educated the nation needs to keep modernizing and investing. Rising numbers of footloose Chinese in 2023 shouldn’t be a surprise. Getting out of the country is easier again now that pandemic controls have been dropped.

Here's why Rohit Srivastava is bullish on NBFC stocks
«So, when we start talking of waves, we start talking of psychology. Has the behavioural pattern also started on the charts matching with what the sentiment is really showing because sometimes in an extended market you can get overbought readings that start concerning you but the market continues to chug along and therefore jumping the gun on data alone can sometimes become wrong and that is where you have to be a little careful when you look at these data points,» says Rohit Srivastava, Indiacharts.com.Are you gauging early signs of froth in the market? The volume data, the bulk deals, margin funding is rising as well? While there can be some signs of concern say for example, I will give you one data point.
