Amazon Prime Video has announced a documentary on the life and achievements of renowned snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Titled "Ronnie O'Sullivan: The Edge of Everything," the feature-length film will delve into the world of the esteemed athlete, examining both his personal obstacles and the pressures he faced following his success.
Th documentary, which is scheduled to release later this month, is produced by Studio 99-David Beckham's production company.
In 2021, O'Sullivan granted unprecedented access to his life as he contemplated a future beyond the world of snooker.
This decision allowed viewers a firsthand glimpse into his personal life and the individuals who have played a crucial role in his journey.
As the snooker legend approached a pivotal moment in his career — aiming for a record-breaking seventh win at the Snooker World Championship — the cameras captured his struggle with the darker aspects of competition, elements he had hoped to leave behind. Director Sam Blair, known for the acclaimed film «Maradona '86,» leads the exploration into O'Sullivan's ability to perform at the highest level despite his ongoing battle with inner demons.
