Pluugin E-commerce has announced plans to expand its operations in India. The company stated that this expansion aims to create over 2,100 jobs in the local market over the next three years.
Currently operational in 12 states, Pluugin E-commerce plans to achieve 100 percent pan-India coverage within the next 12 months. Additionally, India will serve as the backend office for its global operations in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, it said.

E-commerce is one of the fastest-growing markets in India, expanding its reach beyond metro cities into tier 2 and 3 areas. In 2024, it is estimated to be valued at $112.93 billion and is expected to reach $299 billion by 2029.
