Supreme Court justices specifically among the conservatives. According to The Hill, Justice Clarence Thomas aged 76 and Justice Samuel Alito who is aged 74 are actually at the center of discussions about whether they might step down to allow US President- elect Donald Trump to appoint younger conservative successors.
The Hill reported that this certain speculation has eventually drawn severe criticism from renowned conservative figures like Leonard Leo who at the same time labeled the discussions as ‘crass’ and utterly disrespectful to the justice’s long service and contributions to the Constitution.
