Senco Gold Q1 Results: Profit soars 23% YoY to Rs 27.6 cr; revenue rises 30%
Kolkata-based Senco Gold, a recent debutant on the exchanges, on Monday reported 23% growth in its consolidated net profit at Rs 27.6 crore for the quarter ended June 2023. It was Rs 22.5 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations jumped 30% to Rs 1,305 crore in the June quarter, compared with Rs 1,007 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.

NARCL may wind up SEFL the equipment finance arm of Srei group; likely to retain SIFL: Report
Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd (SIFL) and Srei Equipment Finance Ltd (SEFL) -- through a bidding process in February, the Kolkata bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved the resolution plan of the state-owned asset reconstruction company NARCL for takeover of the twin Srei firms under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. "According to the resolution plan submitted, the NARCL will cease all fresh lending activities in the group's equipment financing arm -- SEFL, and after recovering the outstanding debt, it will be 'wound up'," the PTI reported citing the official sources. The loan repayment process may extend for the next seven years, the sources added.

Housing prices in this Delhi-NCR area jumped 46% in Q2; know how much property price has risen in your city
Housing prices in Kolkata have increased by 15 per cent year-on-year (YoY) in the April-June quarter of 2023. It was the highest increase in residential prices among the eight cities, according to the report. «Housing prices in the city have been on the rise over the past seven quarters. The recent surge in housing prices is owing to the rising demand boosted by positive government incentives such as extension of 2 per cent reduction in stamp duty and extension of 10 per cent reduced circle rates till September 2023,» the report said. Delhi-NCR came second as housing prices in the northern region have risen by 14 per cent YoY in Q2. Hyderabad witnessed a rise of 13 per cent in housing prices in the last year during the second quarter, said the report. At the micro-market level, Golf Course Road and Dwarka Expressway witnessed the highest rise in housing prices at 46 per cent and 40 per cent, respectively, on a YoY basis during Q2 2023. «Housing prices in Golf Course Road continue to surpass the prices of Delhi in Q2 2023 attributed to its improving connectivity and proximity to commercial office hubs in Gurugram, which have sparked a surge in demand for residential properties,» the report added.Pan India residential prices Q2 2023 (in Rs /sq ft) –
