enforcement agencies against its candidates or office bearers. A BJP spokesperson, however, denied that the Opposition was being targeted for political reasons. Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) Sena's candidate for Mumbai North-West, Amol Kirtikar, has received a notice from Enforcement Directorate hours after he filed his nomination. The notice was in a case of 'providing substandard khichdi' to migrant workers after the Modi government's overnight nationwide lockdown to stop the spread of Covid-19. Similarly, Nashik police served UBT Sena district chief Sudhakar Badgujar with an 'externment' notice. He has several cases against him and it is not clear why the notice was served on him. However, he was in the news for allegedly dancing in a farmhouse in 2016 with Salim Kutta, an aide of gangster Dawood Ibrahim convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. The notice was served hours after Shiv Sena minister Dada Bhuse said, during a campaign for Sena MP Hemant Godse, that CM Eknath Shinde should look into the Badgujar and Kutta issue. Godse is engaged in a tough fight with UBT Sena's Rajabhau Waje in Nashik.

voter ID cards. This marks the first group of beneficiaries at the shelter, which has been operated by the Social and Evangelical Association for Love (SEAL) for 25 years. Social workers from SEAL facilitated this initiative, benefiting a total of 125 homeless individuals at the shelter. This addition of 125 new voters has caught the attention of political party workers. They have started visiting the SEAL Ashram to campaign for their candidates and inquire about any issues the shelter residents may have that they can address. Pastor Biju Samuel, who is second-in-command at SEAL, told TOI, «We are happy that our shelter home is now finally showing on the political radars of parties, since we now have 125 newly registered voters. For the past quarter century, local politicians were hardly interested in homeless people. Now they do.»
