Hyundai WhatsApp Department Hyundai gets Rs 15 cr tax demand notice
Hyundai Motor India on Saturday said it has received a tax demand notice of Rs 15 crore from GST authorities. The automaker on February 28 received an order from Additional Commissioner, Central GST Department, Tamil Nadu, for the period FY 2020-21 and FY 2021-22 wherein a tax demand has been raised under Section 73 of Central Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 and Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, the company said.

Dressed in a dark blue blazer and a striped shirt, Pandey arrived at the Sebi headquarters in the Bandra Kurla Complex business district on Saturday afternoon.

According to an alert flash on the TRACES portal of the tax department, the functionality to file both these forms (Form 13 and 15E) have been enabled for the upcoming FY 2025-26. However, for the current FY 2024-25 these forms will be made available till March 15, 2025. This means if you want to apply for a lower TDS deduction certificate by filing Form 13 or 15E for FY 2024-25 then hurry up as only two weeks are left. Addressing the 49th Civil Accounts Day event here, Sitharaman lauded the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) officers, led by the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) for the «silent technological revolution» in which states are finding a lot more ease of operation and ease of getting their government business done by adopting the public financial management system (PFMS). «I would also like you to examine, in consultation with the CAG, whether it would be possible to make the annual accounts more approachable and user-friendly and allow citizens to analyse easily and generate customisable and simpler reports,» Sitharaman said. She said that since a lot of digital integration has already taken place with the states, more research can be carried out based on the data set available with the CGA. «If you're able to make the report a lot more user-friendly, that itself can generate a lot of interest in the work that you do,» the Minister said.

On May 19, 2023, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced the withdrawal of Rs 2000 denomination banknotes from circulation. The total value of Rs 2000 banknotes in circulation, which was Rs 3.56 lakh crore at the close of business on May 19, 2023, declined to Rs 6,471 crore at the close of business on February 28, 2025, RBI said. «Thus, 98.18 per cent of the Rs 2000 banknotes in circulation as on May 19, 2023, has since been returned,» it said in a statement.
