Even as Bitcoin is inching closer to the $100,000 mark having surged 49% over the last month, Dogwifhat, the Japanese dog with a hat, touched a market cap of $3.3 billion, making it the 36th ranked coin among 2.4 million currencies. Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT) surged by 2,315% since its launch this month,according to CoinMarketCap, a price-tracking website for cryptocurrencies.

contingency plans for military deployments in Japan and the Philippines in case of an emergency over Taiwan, Japan's Kyodo news agency reported. They will be incorporated in a first joint operation plan to be formulated in December, according to sources familiar with Japan-US relations, Kyodo said late Sunday. A US Marine regiment which possesses the multiple-launch HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) would be deployed along Japan's Nansei island chain stretching from Kyushu to Yonaguni near Taiwan, Kyodo said.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. (MLDL), the real estate and infrastructure development arm of the Mahindra Group, has extended its partnership with Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation for the second phase of their joint industrial parks project in Tamil Nadu. The company, through its subsidiary Mahindra World City Developers (MWCDL), has entered into a supplemental agreement that involves an investment of around Rs 225 crores by MWCDL and Sumitomo Corporation in Mahindra Industrial Park Chennai Ltd (MIPCL), in proportion to their existing shareholding. The joint venture agreement was originally signed in 2015. “The partnership with Sumitomo Corporation, reflects our commitment to fostering progress and enabling industries to thrive sustainably,” said Amit Kumar Sinha, Managing Director & CEO, Mahindra Lifespace Developers.
