‘Vikings: Valhalla’ Season 3: Netflix unveils first-look pictures of last and final season; Details here
Netflix has officially confirmed that the highly-anticipated third season of Vikings: Valhalla, the sequel to the immensely popular series Vikings, will be the show's final installment. Fans can look forward to the last adventure of Leif, Freydís, and Harald, with the third season set for release in 2024. To provide a sneak peek, Netflix has unveiled initial on-set photos featuring Leo Suter as Harald Sigurdsson, Sam Corlett as Leif Eriksson, and Frida Gustavsson as Freydís Eiríksdóttir, all in character during the filming of the Viking heroes' thrilling final journeys. Jeb Stuart, the show's creator, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to narrate the tales of Leif, Harald, and Freydis over three seasons. He emphasized his initial vision of showcasing how these iconic Viking figures evolved, and he believes that they have achieved precisely that. Stuart, renowned for his work on blockbuster films like Die Hard and The Fugitive, added that he hopes the audience will be thrilled by the new heights to which these heroes are taken in the upcoming season. Addressing potential disappointment among fans regarding the show concluding after only three seasons, Stuart explained that while there are undoubtedly more aspects of their lives to explore, it made sense within the storyline for the voyages of Leif, Freydís, and Harald to culminate with the third season. This decision was made to provide a satisfying conclusion to their journeys and character arcs.

Arunachal signs MoU with Norwegian Geotechnical Institute to explore harnessing geothermal potential
Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) to explore feasibility of harnessing geothermal potentials that the state’s numerous hot springs offer. The intention of this MoU is to provide a facilitating mechanism for the two parties to work together on mutually agreed, progressive and supportive activities; aiming for further development in the field of Geotechnics and Rock Engineering by dealing with complex sub-surface geological and geotechnical issues faced by the state. To begin with, NGI will carry out geological, geochemical and geothermal investigation of few selected geothermal sites in Tawang and West Kameng districts that will include MT Survey to decipher the deeper geoelectrical configuration of geothermal springs (hot-springs) and feasibility to utilize the Geothermal Energy resources for further use. The MoU was signed by Repo Ronya, Secretary, Science and Technology, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, and Dr Rajinder Bhasin, Technical Expert, NGI, Norway, in presence of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Science and Technology Minister Honchun Ngandam, Chief Secretary Dharmendra and Dr Vivek Kumar, Senior Advisor, Norwegian Embassy, New Delhi. Lockheed Martin F-35A fighter jets land on motorway
Lockheed Martin fighter jets have landed on a motorway for the first time, footage from the Norwegian military showed, a step that enables them to reduce vulnerable time on the ground in times of war. The two Royal Norwegian Air Force aircraft landed in Tervo, central Finland, on Thursday afternoon as part of a military exercise. Immediately after landing, refuelling was carried out with the engines running, a so-called «hotpit refuelling», the Norwegian military said, before the planes took off again. «Fighter jets are vulnerable on the ground, so by being able to use small airfields — and now motorways — (this) increases our survivability in war,» Major General Rolf Folland, chief of the Royal Norwegian Air Force, said in the statement. Finland, which joined NATO in April, shares a 1,300 km (810 mile) border with Russia. Norway is a founding member of the alliance. Another type of F-35, the F-35B which is able to land vertically, has landed on roads before.
