Woman with double uterus pregnant with a child in each at the same time
two uteruses has become pregnant in both at the same time — a phenomenon doctors are calling a “one in a million” pregnancy.Kelsey Hatcher and her husband Caleb, of Dora, Ala., learned they were expecting in the spring, but it wasn’t until a routine screening ultrasound that they found out the circumstances surrounding their super rare pregnancy.Hatcher, 32, has long known that she was born with two uteri and two cervixes, as a result of a condition known as uterine didelphys. And while the condition is rare enough on its own, the odds of becoming pregnant in each uterus at the same time is “one in a million,” according to Dr. Richard Davis, a maternal and fetal medicine specialist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Women & Infants Center, who spoke with ABC News.Davis told NBC affiliate WVTM 13 that “maybe three per 1,000 women might” have a double cervix or double uterus.“And then the probability of you having a twin in each horn is really crazy,” he continued.“When I first found out, I was like, ‘I wonder if there’s anybody I can reach out to just to, you know, see what their experiences were,'” Hatcher told Good Morning America.

Death penalty in US: Alabama Governor announces America's first nitrogen hypoxia execution. Details of method here
death penalty as Alabama will go ahead with the much talked about execution using nitrogen hypoxia, an alternative method to lethal injection, as confirmed by the state's Republican governor. The method of execution known as nitrogen hypoxia entails the deprivation of oxygen to both the brain and the body, resulting in the demise of the inmate through suffocation. The execution of Kenneth Eugene Smith, initially planned via lethal injection, encountered an unexpected cancellation in November. The state faced challenges in properly establishing the IV line before the execution warrant expired.

Daylight Saving Time: Why did two US states not change the time? Here’s what you may need to know
annual rollback of time, with their digital devices automatically jumping back an hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday. However, in Hawaii and most of Arizona, it was business as usual with no changes to the clocks. Why did two US states not change the time? Since 1968, Arizona has opted out of daylight saving time, mainly because of the state's intense sunshine. The logic is simple: less daylight at the end of the day equals cooler evenings. The Navajo Nation in Arizona, however, does observe daylight saving time due to its expansive territory extending into states that do change the time. Hawaii's tropical latitude near the equator means its daylight hours don't vary much throughout the year, making daylight saving time unnecessary.
