Why is filling of 80k stadium surprising?: Ashneer Grover on Chetan Bhagat's 'paying so much' statement regarding Coldplay tickets
Coldplay concerts scheduled for 2025, popular author Chetan Bhagat and former SharkTank judge Ashneer Grover engaged in debate on social media platform over pricey tickets sold. «On one hand we get figures of Indian salary percentiles and on the other there’s near mania for concert tickets. Who’s paying so much and buying all these tickets? What percentage of your monthly salary are people spending on these tickets? Some YOLO logic here? What?» said Bhagat in a post on X. Replying to the author, Ashneer said «It’s a large country — and lot is disparity on either end — why is filling of 80k stadium surprising anyone? 800k students go overseas every year — spending $50K on an average. Also now that most people who can afford have phones — things will fill up instantly as well.»

Why Ashneer Grover thinks lengthy hiring processes are a waste of time
Ashneer Grover, founder of BharatPe and Third Unicorn, advocates for a streamlined hiring process centered around the principle of "hire fast, fire fast." Speaking on the podcast 'Limitless with Ishan Sharma,' Grover argued that traditional lengthy hiring procedures and prolonged notice periods waste valuable time and resources, ultimately hindering company growth. The Traditional Hiring Process: A Time Sink Grover criticizes the conventional approach to recruitment, which involves multiple rounds of interviews and extended notice periods. «What I have basically understood about hiring, and a lot of people don’t agree with this thought, it’s hire fast, fire fast,» Grover stated. He emphasized that the extensive time spent in hiring is often counterproductive, as candidates tend to be on their best behavior during interviews, making it difficult to gauge their true performance.
