Joe Biden to announce $60 million investment from Enphase Energy
Joe Biden will announce a $60 million investment from Enphase Energy Inc, a manufacturer of solar-energy equipment when he travels Thursday to South Carolina, according to a report published by Bloomberg. With this move, around 1,800 new jobs will be created across the United States including 600 in South California between Enphase and its partner multinational manufacturing giant Flex Ltd, the White House said in an official statement. Enphase aims to open up six new manufacturing lines, bolstering clean-energy supply chains and helping power as many as one million homes per year with solar energy, Bloomberg reported. The manufacturer's visit to South California comes as the US President is heightening his reelection campaign with a series of events to champion his administration’s accomplishments — in particular his economic agenda, which the White House has taken to calling Bidenomics. He has been highlighting his efforts to create manufacturing jobs in the US as a centerpiece of his efforts, boosted in part by legislation he signed into law including the $370 billion Inflation Reduction Act and the $52 billion CHIPS and Science Act. Joe Biden argued that those laws will bring deep and lasting changes to the American economy, yet despite a boom in factory construction, many of those facilities won’t come online for years, a challenge for a president whose economic record will be central to his reelection prospects.

How US Supreme Court ruling on race in admissions pitches minority against each other
Joe Biden said of the US Supreme Court, and he is right. The court's conservative supermajority has taken a hammer to everything liberal Americans hold sacred — most significantly, the affirmative action policies designed to correct the historic wrongs of slavery. In a 6-3 decision last week, the court essentially declared America colour-blind and no longer needing remedial measures.

5 killed, 2 wounded in Philadelphia shooting incident
U.S.A., a man wearing a bulletproof jacket opened fire in Philadelphia city, killing five people and wounding two children. The 40-year-old suspect surrendered to the police. He is in police custody and being interrogated. The suspected attacker was carrying an AR-15 rifle, a handgun, a police scanner, and ammunition, but the motive behind the crime is still not known. He did not know any of the victims and fired indiscriminately in the southwestern area of Kingsessing area. Confirming the shooting incident, Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said that when the policemen reached the crime scene, firing was still going on and they could hear the gunshots. The suspect continued with the firing and the space was littered with bullet castings. The policemen chased the suspected attacker on foot and encircled him. When cornered in the alleyway, the suspected attacker surrendered. Only two days before this shooting incident, two people were killed and 28 injured in a shooting incident in Baltimore, Maryland. Multiple suspects opened fire on a community gathering. Four people were killed and eight others injured in a local 4th July festival in Fort Worth, Texas. Reacting to these incidents, President Joe Biden has said that the epidemic of gun violence is tearing communities apart across the U.S.A and much more is needed to be done.
