This improved hearing test could potentially render existing apps like Mimi less relevant. Apple is also exploring the integration of sensors in AirPods to measure body temperature accurately through the wearer's ear canal. This approach is considered more precise than wrist-based temperature monitoring done by devices such as the Apple Watch Series 8 and Ultra models during sleep.
