Marco Bezzecchi wins Indian Grand Prix as Bagnaia crash opens up championship
Bezzecchi won the inaugural Indian Grand Prix on Sunday with a dominant performance from start to finish while Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia suffered a crash that blows the world championship contest wide open. Pole-sitter Bezzecchi lost out on a sprint podium after a collision with teammate Luca Marini, eventually finishing fifth, but on Sunday there was no rider in the chasing pack who could match the determined Italian's pace up front. Pramac Racing rider and sprint winner Jorge Martin, who risked a penalty by unzipping his leathers, finished second while Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo completed the podium after the two were involved in a tense battle on the final lap. World championship leader Bagnaia seemed to be cruising in second place but lost his balance on turn five with eight laps to go, allowing Martin to move up to second and close the gap to 13 points while Bezzecchi is 44 points behind.

Verstappen wins Japanese GP, Red Bull clinch title
Max Verstappen helped Red Bull clinch the Formula One constructors' championship and took a giant step towards his third straight drivers' title by winning the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday. Runaway championship leader Verstappen finished ahead of McLaren pair Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri and can lift the title at next month's Qatar Grand Prix. Verstappen's win helped Red Bull clinch their second straight constructors' title even though teammate Sergio Perez retired from the race. «You have built a rocket ship of a car,» he told his team over the radio after crossing the line. Nearest challengers Mercedes were unable to stay in contention, with Lewis Hamilton finishing fifth and George Russell placing seventh.Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was fourth, while teammate Carlos Sainz was sixth. Verstappen was back to his breathtaking best after a disappointing fifth-place finish at last week's Singapore Grand Prix. He held off a double challenge from McLaren to take the lead ahead off Norris at the first turn. First the Dutchman veered right to squeeze out Piastri, who was starting from second on the grid, then moved left to stop Norris from darting through the gap. The safety car came out soon after, with Alfa Romeo's Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu taking damage at the start of the race. Perez got into trouble when he picked up a five-second penalty for a safety car infringement. The Mexican retired from the race a few laps later, telling his team «the car doesn't feel right». He later came back out, ensuring that he would not have to serve his time penalty at the next race. Russell and Hamilton tried to chase Leclerc but Sainz got himself in the mix by going past Russell late on. Bottas, Aston Martin's Lance Stroll and

Wither, scientific temperament?
gotra and village", Khattar had in 2020 claimed such prohibition had “scientific backing". The word “gotra" usually refers to lineage that, to many people, marriage must not violate, for that would amount to incest. I don’t want to argue about this, nor chase a precise definition of the word.

Job Security Isn’t Enough to Keep Many Accountants From Quitting
After more than six years working as an accountant, Omer Khokhar knew he wanted out. The New York resident found accounting work monotonous, with little room for creativity or growth, and maximum salaries weren’t as high as he would have liked. “The job security and the ability to have a comfortable life motivated me at first," said Khokhar, who served as a senior accountant at two construction firms and senior auditor at an accounting firm.

Central Banks Near Rate Peak, but Economic Toll Yet to Be Counted
LONDON—Central banks around the world appear to be nearing the end of a series of interest rate rises, but the economic cost of the battle against inflation is only beginning to emerge, with mounting signs that Europe could be among the hardest hit. Although there may be more rises to come, many central banks have signaled that interest rates should now be high enough to bring inflation back down. Of the 12 central banks that announced policy decisions in the past five days, eight left their key interest rates unchanged, including the Federal Reserve and the Bank of England.

Could I Get the Wi-Fi Password? My Son Might Win the Race of a Lifetime
Sabina Kuss never missed her son Sepp’s bike races. Often, this meant waking up in the early a.m. darkness at her home in Durango, Colo., and turning on the TV, where she and Sepp’s father, Dolph, would sit for hours, watching their son compete in dramatic races like the Tour de France.

The Long-Term Benefits of Hands-On Fathering
The blockbuster movie “Barbie" depicts men as utterly useless. The film’s younger guys dress in fake fur and act like Neanderthals, while the middle-aged men who have jobs are portrayed as incompetent nincompoops. Some are eye candy for the Barbies, but they’re all socially awkward.

Market chasing growth; there's headroom for market to go up but focus on quality: Dhiraj Agarwal
Dhiraj Agarwal, MD, Ambit Investment Managers, says “high growth rate is a double-edged sword. When the growth rates are high, the PEs expand and hence the stock price compounds at double the speed as the earnings growth rate. But it works on the reverse as well. If the growth rate slows down, the PE contracts. So, we need to be very, very careful and selective and focus more on quality. ”After the recent run up and looking at the macros we are staring at, what is your house advice? What are you indicating to your clients? At this point of time, markets are in a zone where one needs to be very, very selective and very, very quality focused. I do not think it is a bubble yet. There is more headroom for the market to go up but it will not perhaps be as smooth and as easy as what we have seen in the last four or five months where almost anything and everything was flying. It is time to be a bit more selective because the valuations are high but it is not ridiculously high and hence caution is warranted at this point. Being selective is a good idea.
