DLF Cyber City Developers (DCCDL), the rental arm of DLF, has applied for denotification of 1.1 million sq ft of office space in Special Economic Zones and is hopeful to start leasing it from March end, Sriram Khattar, managing director, rental business, DLF, told investors during a post-earnings earnings call. Special Economic Zones (SEZ) have higher rental vacancies at present than areas that are not deemed export zones. The government in December 2023, revised the SEZ rules.

Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) said Wednesday. Over 4.52 lakh cyber crime cases were reported on the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP) in 2021, which rose by 113.7% in 2022, with 9.66 lakh cases being reported on the portal, director of I4C Rajesh Kumar told reporters in an interaction. I4C is a body established by the Ministry of Home Affairs to provide a framework and eco-system for law enforcement agencies for dealing with Cybercrime in a coordinated and comprehensive manner.

cyber police in Kashmir has registered a case in an alleged multi-crore fraud by Curative Survey Private Limited, a company that has duped hundreds of people across Jammu and Kashmir in lieu of providing sustained monthly income after paying registration fee and participating in online surveys. Bengaluru Police have registered an FIR after obscene images interrupted the live streaming of the Karnataka High Court proceedings at a court hall on Monday. The CEN Police (cyber, economic & narcotic offences) registered the FIR under sections 67 & 67(A) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 on a complaint from the High Court administration.
