India and Bangladesh trade settlement in rupee will boost bilateral commerce: Sanjay Budhia
India and Bangladesh commencing cross-border trade settlement in Indian rupee (INR) would promote two-way commerce by reducing transaction cost, an industry official said on Sunday. CII national committee on EXIM Sanjay Budhia said that since all exports and imports and settlement of trade transactions under this arrangement may be denominated and invoiced in INR, this would also reduce dependence on the US Dollar and would address situations like scarcity of forex reserves apart from strengthening regional currency and trade.

Bricolage, a valuable tool for new-age entrepreneurs
bricolage. The term was coined by Levi Strauss, a French anthropologist, who compared the term 'bricoleur' to the 'engineer'. A bricoleur defies the standard norms of creating something from well-established resources, and instead 'makes do' with whatever is available at hand, improvising and generating value almost out of nothing.

App Billing Policy: HC dismisses 14 of 16 petitions against Google
Madras High Court has dismissed 14 of the 16 pleas filed by Indian startups against Google's app billing policy, ruling that it was a matter falling under the jurisdiction of the Competition Commission of India (CCI). The court decision leaves many of the companies, including Matrimony.com, Shadi.com and Unacademy, without the protection of the interim injunction from the court that had prevented Google from delisting their apps from its App Store. The companies had approached the high court after Google asked them to either adopt the company’s mandated billing route or risk being removed from its Play Store.
