India achieved major success in the space sector with Chandrayaan-3, the indigenous aerospace sector is all set to receive a major boost as the Indian Air Force has plans to place orders for around 100 more LCA Mark1A fighter jets. The Indian Air Force (IAF) plans to buy these Made in India aircraft to replace the MiG-21 fighter jets in its fleet has been submitted to the Defence Ministry and all other stakeholders in the national security establishment. The decision to buy around 100 more of these planes came around the time when Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari held a review meeting of the indigenous fighter jet programme with all entities involved including the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. «The Indian Air Force has decided that it would buy around 100 more of these highly capable LCA Mark-1A fighter jets from the HAL. The proposal in this regard has been submitted to the Defence Ministry.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and share their joy on the stunning success of the Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission. The PM is in Johannesburg as part of the BRICS summit and will fly directly from there to Bengaluru en route to Delhi. He watched the spacecraft’s descent on screen from the South African city and made a statement soon after the mission’s success was announced. Modi personally called ISRO director S Somanath and conveyed his happiness to the team of scientists who diligently worked on the project after the previous mission failed four years ago. “The PM congratulated all of us and said that he would like to personally come down and congratulate each one of us,” Somanath said. The BJP has planned a rousing welcome to the PM at HAL and outside the ISRO facility.

Chandrayaan-3 landing: After successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on south pole of moon, India has become fourth country in the world to achieve this feat after Russia, US and China. While it is a matter of pride for the entire nation, it has opened some avenue for revenue in future as well. According to experts, Chandrayaan-3 soft landing on moon is quite cheaper in comparison to other countries and it is going to enhance Indian contribution in global space market from around 3 per cent to the tune of 10 per cent in next decade.

Dividend stock 2023: Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) stocks will be in focus today as it is one of the dividend paying stocks that is going to trade ex-bonus today. The board of directors of the company has declared final dividend of ₹15 per equity share for the financial year 2022-23.

Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) share price rose 3.5% to hit a new 52-week high on Wednesday's session as HAL manufactured Vikram lander, part of Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is expected to land on the moon today. Hindustan Aeronautics' stock has risen for the past three sessions in a row, gaining 6%. HAL share price today opened at ₹3,914.95 apiece on BSE, and touched intraday high at ₹4,034 and low at ₹3,899.
