Shares of Eicher Motors(up 1.42 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.99 per cent), Samvardhana Motherson International(up 0.47 per cent), Bharat Forge(up 0.45 per cent) and TIINDIA(up 0.22 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Bajaj Auto(down 1.72 per cent), MRF(down 1.34 per cent), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.19 per cent), Balkrishna Industries(down 0.91 per cent) and Tata Motors(down 0.8 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.

Natco Pharma(up 2.76 per cent), Divis Laboratories(up 1.72 per cent), Granules India(up 1.35 per cent), Zydus Lifesciences(up 1.29 per cent) and Cipla(up 1.24 per cent) were among the top gainers. Laurus(down 1.23 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma(down 0.93 per cent), Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals(down 0.81 per cent), Lupin(down 0.73 per cent) and Alkem Laboratories(down 0.7 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

India's manufacturing industry expanded at the second-fastest rate this year in June, albeit at a slightly slower pace than in May, supported by robust demand despite higher inflationary pressures, data showed Monday. The S&P Global Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index fell to 57.8 in June from May's 58.7. That marked two years of the index being above the 50-mark separating expansion from contraction.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 1.31 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.15 per cent), SOBHA(up 0.97 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.55 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.5 per cent) were among the top gainers. Godrej Properties(down 0.87 per cent), DLF(down 0.34 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.32 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 0.19 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

Wipro(up 0.27 per cent) and MPhasis(up 0.2 per cent) were among the top gainers. Persistent Systems(down 2.49 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd(down 0.79 per cent), Coforge(down 0.77 per cent), Tech Mahindra(down 0.65 per cent) and L&T Technology(down 0.48 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

Nuvama Wealth Management will be deleted from the FTSE Global Smallcap index, effective July 5, FTSE Russell said in a release. Pursuant to its demerger from Edelweiss Financial Services, Nuvama Wealth Management shares have not started trading on the bourses, and there is no intimation on the commencement of trading date. Therefore, the global index aggregator decided to remove the company from the smallcap index.
