After the indexes enjoyed a solid rally on Friday, the market turned its focus on Monday to Consumer Price Index (CPI) data, due out Tuesday morning. Economists expect a headline increase of 3.3% for October, easing from 3.7% in September.

Investing.com — The Dow eked out a gain on Monday, supported by energy and health care stocks, but upside momentum was kept in checked as traders awaited fresh inflation data due Tuesday. 

India's retail inflation, or consumer price index (CPI)-based inflation, for October is due on Monday, November 13. The BSE Sensex declined 325 points or 0.50% to settle at 64,934. The broader NSE Nifty dropped 82 points or 0.42% to end at 19,443. Among Sensex stocks, Bajaj Finance and Infosys were the top laggards, falling over 1% each.
