IPO FIVE Digital Landmark Strategy Experts country Market has figured out bottoms for new age tech cos; look at them long-term: Gautam Trivedi
Gautam Trivedi, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Napean Capital, says “the market is now starting to accept that there is a certain different valuation metric we should be applying to the new age tech companies. These companies are changing the way we live and behave, whether it is Zomato, whether it is insurance online or Paytm. Going forward, these are companies you want to keep owning from a longer term perspective.” Let us look at something which is in the public domain, something which we have discussed in the past, your top holdings, Varun Beverages, Landmark, Inox Wind, Sampada. Have your top five holdings changed or are they still intact? These are the top five holdings on a mark to market basis. So these are actually companies that we are a bit more of a special sits (situations) fund. We look for steady compounders as well. Varun Beverages, interestingly, was a special sits which became a steady compounder. Landmark Cars, is the other sector which is compounding – the auto space. Inox Wind, is a special sits investment because the government policy has changed favourably towards wind power because there was too much focus on solar given the fact that solar energy is only available from eight o'clock in the morning to about 4.30 or 5.00 p.m. in the afternoon.

Landmark Fighting President singer folk reports Bhongir: From Maoism to politics of money power
Bhongir in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district (old Nalgonda) has a historic setting rooted in the idealism of a bygone era but it now hosts an election contest that mirrors the realities of new-age politics, driven by resourceful candidates in pursuit of state power. Bhongir also has been a landmark in the long history of agitation and struggle in the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh state for creating a new Telangana state. Much before K Chandrashekhar Rao and his TRS (now BRS) came to be identified as the harbingers of Telangana state, it was here way back in 1996, when the now defunct Telangana Jana Sabha, enjoying the patronage of the Maoists and other activists, passed the 'Bhongir Telangana Declaration', de manding a separate state. Once the hotbed of Maoism and the People's War Group, Bhongir has seen many mobilisations as well as many bloody encounters and murders including that of Belli Lalitha, the revolutionary folk singer.

Reuters Progressive Landmark BBC show country reports Documents show UAE aimed to pursue gas deals ahead of COP28, BBC says
COP28 host the United Arab Emirates planned to discuss possible natural gas and other commercial deals ahead of U.N. climate talks that begin this week, an investigation by the BBC and the Centre for Climate Reporting (CCR) said on Monday. The climate summit will be the first global assessment of progress since the landmark Paris Agreement in 2015, which set a goal of limiting global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit), while aiming for a cap of 1.5C. Climate scientists have said achieving that goal depends on phasing out fossil fuels. The investigation cited leaked documents, which it said were prepared for COP28 President-designate Sultan Al Jaber for meetings with at least 27 governments. They included talking points to further ADNOC's interests in LNG or petrochemicals, as well as state renewables firm Masdar's interests in renewables and other climate-mitigation measures. A COP28 spokesperson told Reuters the documents were «innacurate». «The documents referred to in the BBC article are inaccurate and were not used by COP28 in meetings,» a COP28 spokesperson said.
