Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. slipped 2.21 per cent to Rs 1140.75 in Wednesday's trade as of 01:34PM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 1170.15 and low of Rs 1132.2 during the session.

BSE Sensex today opened upside at 64,619 and went on to hit intraday high of 64,787 mark. However, the 30-stock index witnessed sharp selling at higher levels and hit intrday low of 63,912 levels, losing to the tune of near 1500 points in last two sessions.

GAIL (India) Ltd. traded 1.44 per cent down in Wednesday's trade at 12:43PM (IST). Around 316,025 shares changed hands on the counter.

Central Bank of India, and Bank of Maharashtra, up over 36 percent each. Meanwhile, Punjab National Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Union Bank of India, UCO Bank and Punjab & Sind Bank have also advanced between 15 and 25 percent. On the other hand, in the Nifty Private Bank index, of its 10 constituents, 6 are in the green whereas 4 have given negative returns.

Multibagger stock: Shares of Servotech Power Systems Ltd are one of the multibagger stocks that Indian stock market has delivered in year-to-date (YTD) time. However, it seems that the energy stock has still some steam left. Despite choopy stock market sentiments during Wednesday deals, Servotech Power Systems shraes hit upper circuit.

The scrip opened at Rs 666.05 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 673.55 and Rs 661.45, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 775.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 557.15.

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. gained 0.04 per cent to Rs 981.2 in Wednesday's trade as of 11:57AM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 990.25 and low of Rs 980.35 during the session.

MAGADHSUGAR(up 7.63%), AVADHSUGAR(up 5.62%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(up 3.97%), Shree Renuka Sugars(up 3.63%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals(up 3.17%), Triveni Engineering & Industries(up 3.09%), Mawana Sugars(up 2.91%), DCM Shriram Industries(up 2.90%), Uttam Sugar Mills(up 2.86%) and Dwarikesh Sugar Industries(up 2.76%) were among the top gainers. K.M.Sugar Mills(down 0.63%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 0.95 points down at 19280.8, while BSE Sensex was up 13.53 points at 64585.41 at the time of writing this report. In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.44 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.00 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.37 per cent), State Bank of India(up 1.17 per cent) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.12 per cent) were among the top gainers.

DLF Ltd. traded 0.47 per cent up at Rs 535.3 on Wednesday at around 11:11AM (IST), while the benchmark BSE Sensex advanced 14.81 points to 64586.69. As many as 33,829 shares changed hands on the counter with a total value of Rs 1.81 crore.

Persistent Systems Ltd.(up 1.79 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent), MphasiS Ltd.(up 0.79 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.51 per cent) and L&T Technology Services Ltd.(up 0.32 per cent) were among the top gainers. Infosys Ltd.(down 1.96 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.05 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

Balkrishna Industries Ltd.(up 2.04 per cent), TVS Motor Company Ltd.(up 1.05 per cent), Tube Investments of India Ltd.(up 0.85 per cent), Bosch Ltd.(up 0.8 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 0.75 per cent) were among the top gainers. Bharat Forge Ltd.(down 2.08 per cent), Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd.(down 0.5 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.32 per cent), Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd.(down 0.1 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.04 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

Bharat Electronics Ltd. traded 0.07 per cent lower in Wednesday's session at 11:01AM (IST). The stock opened at Rs 132.4 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 134.65 and Rs 132.4, respectively, during the session so far.

Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 3.57 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd.(up 2.6 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.61 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.08 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(up 1.04 per cent) were among the top gainers. Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 2.84 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.08 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

Day trading guide for stock market today: Following weak global market cues, Dalal Street ended lower on fourth day in a row on Monday.
