The NSE Nifty index was trading 0.95 points down at 19280.8, while BSE Sensex was up 13.53 points at 64585.41 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.44 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.00 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.37 per cent), State Bank of India(up 1.17 per cent) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.12 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While NTPC Ltd.(down 1.80 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
