The platform helps improve developer productivity by streamlining cloud deployment workflows. Other investors who participated in the round were Neon, formerly 100x Entrepreneurs and angel investors including Postman founder and CEO Abhinav Asthana, FusionCharts founder and CEO Pallav Nadhani, Capillary Technologies founder and CEO Aneesh Reddy, Meta director of engineering Krishna Mehra and GTM Buddy founder and CEO Sreedhar Pedinneni. The startup was cofounded in 2021 by three former senior executives from Capillary Technologies – Anshul Sao, Pravanjan Choudhury and Rohit Raveendran – also three alumni of the IIT Kharagpur.

NEW DELHI : Google on Thursday announced an India-tuned version of its generative artificial intelligence (AI)-powered version of its primary product, Search. The platform, which will be available as a pilot to select users, will offer a chatbot-like experience—instead of the typical search bar that has been synonymous with the search engine so far. The India-specific version of Google’s AI-powered Search, called Search Generative Experience (SGE), will offer users the ability to search in English and Hindi, and also offer both voice readouts of search results, and voice inputs for search queries.

NEW DELHI : OpenAI, the US-based artificial-intelligence (AI) research firm, has fired its latest salvo towards seeking to monetize its widely popular chatbot, ChatGPT, by launching ChatGPT Enterprise. Through the latter, OpenAI seeks to address one key concern that enterprises and analysts have raised over time—that of ChatGPT using business data to train their large language models (LLMs).

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Wednesday said that the Pragyan rover has travelled a distance of approximately 15 metres and captured a snap showing the Vikram lander. The Indian space agency has released several images captured by the Pragyan rover. ISRO has posted photos on social media platform X and wrote, “Beyond Borders, Across Moonscapes: India's Majesty knows no bounds! Once more, co-traveller Pragyan captures Vikram in a Snap! The first fund had a corpus of $629 million with two main LPs — Canadian pension fund manager Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) and World Bank arm IFC. CPPIB had committed $225 million to the fund, while IFC invested $100 million. Piramal group and Bain Capital Credit invested $100 million each as sponsors. «Bain and the two main limited partners CPPIB and IFC are on board with the plans for the second fund.

NEW DELHI : Bengaluru International Airport Ltd, in partnership with homegrown computer vision firm Industry.ai and US tech firm Nvidia Corp., on Wednesday announced the integration of the former’s computer vision-based artificial intelligence (AI) platform into the airport’s operations. In a joint statement, the companies said the technology will be deployed at the Bengaluru airport’s Terminal 2—which commences international operations from 31 August.

Digital healthcare platform provider MediBuddy on Wednesday said it has raised additional funding of $18 million from existing investors Quadria Capital, Lightrock and TEAMFund. The current funding round is in continuation of the Bengaluru-based startup’s series C fundraise of $125 million in February 2022. The funds will be used to fuel the company’s growth and expansion plans through strategic acquisitions, as per a statement. “A formidable portion of these funds shall be meticulously channelled into strategic acquisitions and fortifying its existing offerings, harmonising with MediBuddy's visionary trajectory and enabling exponential growth,” the statement read. MediBuddy offers online and offline doctor consultations, medicine delivery, lab tests at home, mental health consultations, surgery care among other healthcare services. Founder and CEO Satish Kannan said MediBuddy has been growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 95.5% over the past three years.
