New Zealand-founded investment bank Jarden and Japanese giant Nomura have hashed out terms to extend their strategic alliance signed in May 2021.

New Delhi: Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) and international non-profit organization CLASP signed a pact to support EESL’s 10 million energy-efficient fans programme, which will help support India’s transition to net zero carbon emissions. Under the partnership agreement, CLASP will support ceiling fans market transformation programme with technical assistance and capacity building to EESL on Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC).

CLASP and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at a side-event on «Accelerating India's Net Zero Transition through Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Cooling & Mobility» at the 14th Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM14) to support EESL's 10 million Energy-Efficient Fans programme, which will help support India's transition to Net Zero Carbon Emissions. The event was attended by members of the Ministry of Power, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, State ministers from Andhra Pradesh and Orissa among others.

New Delhi: India and Japan signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on semiconductor development, which will include design, manufacturing, equipment research and talent development.  Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the agreement as a substantial step to create a resilient complete value chain. "The MoU is on five fronts, viz. semiconductor design, manufacturing, equipment research, talent development, and bringing resilience to the semiconductor supply chain," said Vaishnaw.
