Need to reintroduce country's forgotten pride: RSS chief Bhagwat
RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said India's forgotten pride should be reintroduced. Speaking at Lokmanthan-2024, a colloquium of "nationalist thinkers" here, Bhagwat talking about the importance of science having the consent of country's philosophical knowledge, cited the example of scientists stressing on ethics in the use of Artificial intelligence. India's value system emphasizes on the individual's wisdom, he said. There is logic, wisdom in India's approach to issues and the country need not follow other approaches to problems. India can take good things from foreign countries but it should have its own soul and structures.

Say it with pride: 'Burned in the USA!'
Bribery being what it is in our collective consciousness — a nudge-nudge wink-wink lubricant — the American accusation against one of India's biggest corporate names has provided, along with the standard 'Oh dear' response, the quieter, 'Heh heh, finally, we've made it to the big league!' reaction. The mega-charge joins the more obviously proud ranks of Indian movies like RRR getting Oscar applause and people of our 'mulk' gaining positions of corporate and political power in foreign countries (read: the US).

“The devil appeared to a monk disguised as an angel of light, and said to him, ‘I am the angel Gabriel, and I have been sent to you.’ But the monk said, ‘Are you sure you weren’t sent to someone else? I am not worthy to have an angel sent to me.’ At that the devil vanished.” — Nun and theologian Benedicta Ward

Congress 'shahi parivar' hell bent on breaking OBC-ST-SC unity to snatch reservations: PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday attacked the Congress, accusing that its 'shahi parivar' (royal family) is hell bent on breaking the ST-SC-OBC unity to «snatch reservations under an evil design». Addressing an election rally at Gumla, he accused the JMM-led coalition of looting the state's rich resources such as minerals, forest, sand and coal, putting 'Roti-Beti-Mati' (bread, land and daughter) at grave threat. He also accused the ruling dispensation of fuelling illegal immigration. «The Congress knows that if STs, SCs and OBCs are united, they will pose a threat to the party's existence. This is the reason the Congress 'shahi parivar' is hell bent on break their unity… They want to snatch reservations. »The Congress is trying to pit one tribal community against another… Munda against Oraon, Lohra against Kharia, Kharwar against Korwa etc. with an agenda to break the tribal society's strength," he said.
