According to Bhore, Khedkar gained a seat for the MBBS course at the college through the Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Maharashtra (AMUPDMC) entrance test. She scored 146 marks out of 200 in the exam and was part of the college's first batch in 2007. Bhore further explained that although Khedkar had taken the CET exams, her higher score in the AMUPDMC exam secured her admission.
