Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is recalling close to 15 lakh bottles of a generic medication used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in the US market, according to the US health regulator. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc, USA, a subsidiary of the Mumbai-based drug maker, is recalling around 14.76 lakh bottles of Atomoxetine Capsules in multiple strengths. The company is recalling the affected lot due to «CGMP Deviations», the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) said in its latest Enforcement Report. The recall is due to «presence of N-Nitroso Atomoxetine impurity above the FDA recommended limit,» it added.

However, those intentions appeared to be sidelined shortly thereafter when Adani and seven others faced indictments from US authorities for their involvement in an alleged $265 million bribery scheme related to solar energy in India.

Nirmala Sitharaman Saturday directed the Department of Expenditure to ensure that funding for all schemes and projects are routed through a single nodal agency from the next fiscal year and asked it to work with the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) for a smooth transition. Sitharaman suggested that the CGA examine whether it would be possible to make the government's annual accounts more user-friendly. She also asked the central government's accounting adviser to engage with counterparts in states to promote the adoption of the single nodal agency (SNA) system. Most of the large schemes are already routed through this system, which the minister said has helped save more than Rs 11,000 crore since 2021-22.

The order stated, «Whereas, such disturbances may result in a serious breach of peace, public tranquillity, and danger to human/ properties; Whereas, it is considered necessary to prohibit the assembly of five or more persons carrying sticks, stones, firearms., sharp weapons. Whereas, due to the urgency of the situation and the circumstances not permitting the serving of notice in due time, this order is passed exparte under Sub-section (2) of Section 163 BNSS, 2023, and directed to the public in general.»

Global Investor Summit 2025, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the state has received investment proposals totalling ₹30.77 lakh crores. This marks one of the highest amounts ever received by any state in a year. Rajasthan had earlier attracted proposals worth Rs 30 lakh crores in January 2023. However, the real challenge lies in converting these proposals into actual investments. According to a report by SBI, total investments from both the government and private sectors in the country between April and December last year amounted to Rs 32 lakh crores.

There were allegations that the cost of these equipments were highly inflated and also the contracts were given to companies that had no prior experience of running such a project. Maharashtra government officials said that there were complaints about the tender as it was causing a huge loss to the state exchequer. For instance, while the annual contract would have cost Rs 638 crores for a year, previously the government used to spend Rs 70 crores annually on this.
