Target Platform Action Experts recommendations MCX gets nod from SEBI to launch new commodity derivatives platform
Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), India’s largest commodity derivatives exchange, on October 8, received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Technical Advisory Committee to launch a new web-based commodity derivatives platform (CPD). «SEBI Technical Advisory Committee has recommended that MCX and MCXCCL may Go-Live with the CDP and to intimate SEBI regarding the proposed date for Go Live,» MCX said in an exchange filing. «Accordingly, SEBI has withdrawn its directions to MCX and MCXCCL to keep the proposed Go-Live of CDP in abeyance,» it added. The approval comes after the SEBI had on September 29 asked the company to put on hold the proposed go-live of its new commodity derivatives platform planned for the first week of October. Earlier, MCX had said that its commodity derivatives platform would go live on October 3. The above action had been taken by the market regulator in view of the writ petitions filed by Chennai Financial Markets and Accountability (CFMA) on CDP. Shares of India's largest commodity exchange, the Multi Commodity Exchange, rallied 4.6% to Rs 2,039 on Friday's trade. On a year-to-date basis, the stock has surged 40%, while it has rallied over 55% in the past one year. Citi country rock travelers recommendations prevention Disputed site of Al-Aqsa Mosque a factor in Hamas attack on Israel
Hamas, Al-Qassam Brigades, described Saturday's surprise assault on Israel as an operation «in defense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque,» invoking a dispute around a site that is sacred to both Muslims and Jews and that is among the most deeply contested in the holy land. The mosque sits in a 35-acre site that is considered the holiest in Judaism and the third holiest in Islam. Muslims call the site — which also includes the Dome of the Rock shrine — Haram al-Sharif, or the Noble Sanctuary. According to Islamic scripture, the Prophet Muhammad traveled from Mecca to the mosque in one night to pray, and then ascended to heaven. Jews call the site the Temple Mount, because it was the location of two ancient temples that were destroyed. Israel captured East Jerusalem and the Old City, which contains the site, during the Arab-Israeli War of 1967, then annexed it, but most countries consider it to be occupied territory. The mosque is administered by the Waqf, a trust controlled by Jordan, under a status quo agreement. Israeli security forces maintain a presence on the site, and Jews and Christians can visit, but for years they were prevented from praying on the site to prevent clashes. More recently, Israeli police have quietly allowed Jews to pray there.

Strategy President show 2020 reports recommendations Despite Bihar caste survey, BJP a strong contender
Bihar government's caste survey report to spark the the «Mandal Vs Kamandal» narrative by the opposition camp in Bihar, BJP continues to remain a strong contender for the votes of backward castes in the caste-ridden state. Following its successful show in Bihar in 2014 Lok Sabha polls, BJP has been especially focused to emerge as a strong player in the politics of backward castes in the state. With its continuous efforts to accommodate a good number of the most backward class (MBC) faces in the party's organizational structure from the booth level to the state level, the party has undergone a complete transformation in the last one decade and the party's support base is not confined only to the upper caste votes in the state. BJP's Bihar unit now has several faces from the other backward castes (OBC), and they also held important positions in the party organization. While the party appointed Samrat Choudhari, a prominent OBC face, as its state unit chief, it has given the post of leader of opposition in the state legislative council to Hari Sahni. Sahni is from and MBC caste, Nishad. Present state president Samrat Choudhari had replaced Sanjay Jaiswal who also is an OBC.
