Adani Total Gas (ATG) jumped over 3% to hit the day's high of Rs 947.65 on the NSE on Tuesday while those of Adani Energy Solutions surged 2.5% to 1,087.30 ahead of their March quarter earnings due to be announced today. Adani Energy Solutions, which was previously known as Adani Transmission, had reported an 85% increase in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) for the March 2023 quarter at Rs 440 crore supported by a one-time income of Rs 148 crore (net off tax Rs 122 crore) based on a regulatory order in the transmission business.

According to a trading statement published today (30 April), the firm saw in £710m net inflows last quarter, lower than the £2bn reported in the same quarter last year.  Gross inflows of £3.97bn were slightly lower year-on-year (£4.17bn in Q1 2023), which CEO Mark Fitzpatrick attributed to a fewer number of working days in March ahead of the key tax year end period. «For the year to 5 April, gross inflows are broadly unchanged on the equivalent period in 2023, reflecting an increased level of client activity, albeit with a lower average investment size,» he said.  St James's Place ...

Pidilite Industries Ltd. gained 0.97 per cent to Rs 3050.55 in Tuesday's session as of 12:48PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 300.31 points higher at 74971.59. Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap down start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 3073.2 and a 52-week low of Rs 2293.1 on NSE. Around 10642 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:48PM (IST).

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) guidelines for Small and Medium REITs (SM-REITs) is expected to list over Rs 4,000 crore worth of existing fractional assets under management owned by multiple platforms over the next 2-3 years. SEBI has recently issued guidelines for Small and Medium Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), which are expected to facilitate the listing of a significant number of previously unregistered fraction ownership platforma (FOPs) like Strata, hBits PropertyShare, Assetmonk, Alyf, YOURS and WiseX dealing in real estate assets. The move is aimed at promoting transparency and accountability in the real estate sector, and is likely to provide a boost to the Indian REIT market. “SM REITs will not only foster retail investors’ interest in the real estate sector but will ensure investment portfolio diversification in a regulated environment.

MphasiS Ltd. gained 0.19 per cent to Rs 2347.75 at 12:53PM (IST) in Tuesday's trade. The counter has hit a high of Rs 2371.15 and low of Rs 2324.0 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 2343.25 in the previous session. The counter has had a total traded volume of 10201 shares so far with a value of Rs 2.39 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 26.98 and a price-to-book ratio of 5.13.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. rose 0.67 per cent to Rs 1717.65 in Tuesday's trade as of 12:27PM (IST) even as the benchmark Nifty ruled at 22746.2, up 102.8 points. The scrip had closed at Rs 1706.05 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week low of Rs 1066.65 and a high of Rs 1747.4. The company quoted a market-cap of Rs 84058.12 crore on the BSE.

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. rose 1.21 per cent to Rs 1233.45 in Tuesday's trade. It hit an intraday high of Rs 1236.35 and low of Rs 1218.9, respectively, during the day. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1299.9 and low of Rs 902.2.

Shoppers Stop share price surged over 5% on Tuesday's session following the company's announcement of a 62.55% jump in its consolidated net profit, which came in at ₹23.18 crore for the fourth quarter that ended on March 31, 2024. According to a regulatory filing from Shoppers Stop, the firm reported a consolidated net profit of ₹14.26 crore at the same time last year. Shoppers Stop share price today opened at ₹730.25 apiece on BSE, the stock hit an intraday high of ₹750 and an intraday low of ₹707.35.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies have emerged victorious on more than 100 seats in the crucial first two phases of the elections held this month. "Two phases of seven-phased Lok Sabha elections have been completed. MUMBAI : Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd (TEIL) may have to pay up more for acquiring a controlling stake in Sir Shadi Lal Enterprises (SSLE) than its current open offer, or exit its investment, as transaction at the current price remains unlikely, proxy advisory firm InGovern said in a report on Sunday. Triveni Engineering had made an open offer of ₹262.15 per share for acquiring a controlling stake in SSLE in January. However, the SSLE scrip, which closed at ₹156.8 on the BSE on the day the open offer was announced, has since nearly doubled to open at ₹292 on the BSE on Monday.
