Passive mutual fund assets spike 31% to ₹8.74 lakh crore in a year, says report
reported Business Line. The assets under management of passively managed schemes have rallied 31 percent to ₹8.74 lakh crore last month against ₹6.65 lakh crore logged in January, largely driven by new fund offers and increased inflows into index funds, it said. In fact, passive funds accounted for 21 percent of overall AUM of ₹42.04 lakh crore as of December-end, according to the Association of Mutual Funds in India data, as per the report.

RBL Bank Q3 Results: RBL Bank announced its October-December quarter results for fiscal 2023-24 (Q3FY24) on January 19, reporting a rise of 11 per cent in net profit ₹233 crore, compared to ₹209 crore in the year-ago period. The private sector lender's net interest income (NII) in the third quarter of current fiscal rose 35 per cent to ₹1,546 crore, compared to ₹1,277 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The bank's gross non-performing asset (NPA) stood at 3.12 per cent, down from 3.61 percent recorded in the same quarter last year.

Rolls-Royce Spectre launch: Iconic British carmaker brings its first EV to India
Amid an ongoing worldwide transition towards EVs, the Spectre EV is the first all-electric car launched by the company. Billed as a spiritual successor to the iconic Phantom, the Spectre is a two-door coupe. According to the company, the new car is based on the same ‘architecture of luxury’ platform as its stablemates, the current-generation Phantom and the Cullinan SUV. According to various reports, the Spectre is the most aerodynamic Rolls-Royce to date. The Spectre is powered by a fully-electric powertrain comprising a dual-motor setup. The engine can produce a stunning 577 hp and 900 Nm of peak torque. As per the company's claims, the new EV can deliver a range of 520 km on a single charge. As for pick-up capacity, the Spectre can go from 0-100 in just 4.5 seconds. The front of the Spectre has the broadest Rolls-Royce grille ever, according to reports. The car sports 21-inch alloy wheels and a 102-kWh battery pack. The weight of the car is 2,975 kg. Dimension specs are: 2,080 mm in width, 5,453 mm in length, and 1,559 mm in height. Rolls-Royce has already announced that by 2030, it will phase out all of its ICE models, and thereafter only produce electric cars.

Hindustan Zinc Ltd on Friday reported a net profit of Rs 2,028 crore for the quarter ended December, which was down about 6% from Rs 2,156 crore in the year-ago quarter. Revenue from operations too declined 7% year-on-year to Rs 7,067 crore in the said third quarter.
