Hero MotoCorp on Thursday reported 14% growth in its standalone net profit at Rs 1,204 crore in the second quarter. It was Rs 1054 crore in the year-ago quarter. Revenue from operations in the reporting period rose 11% YoY to Rs 10,463 crore.

Happiest Minds Technologies reported a 15.3% year-on-year (YoY) fall in net profit at Rs 49.5 crore for the September quarter (from Rs 58.5 crore a year ago) dented by higher investment costs during the quarter. Sequentially, the profit fell 3% from the first quarter’s Rs 51 crore profit. Revenue for the second quarter jumped 28.3% YoY and 12.5% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to Rs 521.64 crore. The drop in profit was primarily due to salary increments for most of its employees rolled out from July 1, impacting 2.30% of its profitability, the addition investments towards its new sales team and into its GenAI business.

The approval from Sebi would allow Unifi Asset Management to leverage its extensive experience in the investment space to offer tailored mutual fund solutions to investors, the company said in its filing, adding that it has assembled a team to lead the mutual fund’s operations, blending in-house expertise with strategic external hires. Saravanan Viswanathan, Chief Investment Officer at Unifi Mutual Fund, emphasized that the firm’s focus on absolute risk-adjusted returns, rather than market sentiment and momentum, would drive consistent performance.

Delhivery posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 10 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 against a loss of Rs 103 crore in the year ago period. However, the profit was down by 81% from Rs 54 crore reported in the June 2024-ended quarter. The consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,190 crore which was up by 13% over Rs 1,942 crore posted by the logistics and supply chain company in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. On the sequential basis, the revenue was up by 0.80% versus Rs 2,172 crore reported in Q1FY25.
