Kerala superstar Mohanlal's son Pranav working as a labourer on a farm, caring for goats and other animals.
Mohanlal’s son Pranav seems to have decided that he is drawn to the robust farm life rather than the glitz of showbiz. As per a Manorama report, the veteran actor’s son is currently in Spain, spending time farming. The ‘Iruvar’ star’s wife, Suchitra, told the magazine that even though she is hearing some scripts every year, her son is currently preoccupied with things other than movies. Suchitra shared that Pranav is currently involved in a 'Work Away' program on a farm in Spain, where he works in exchange for food and accommodation rather than money. She explained that Pranav values these kinds of experiences more than financial rewards and is currently taking on tasks like caring for horses and goats. «Although people, including his cousins, often say that Pranav only listens to me, I don’t think that’s entirely true,» Suchitra said. «He has his own ideas—he’s not stubborn, but he follows what he believes is right.»

Slum area in Mumbai declines by 8.6% over 17 years: Study
The study, which focused on Greater Mumbai and Thane, found that the area covered by slums dropped from 47.7 square kilometres in 2005 to 43.6 square kilometres in 2022. However, this overall decline masks a more complex pattern: some slums expanded, others shrank, and some disappeared entirely over the past two decades. Specifically, slums in certain areas reduced by 10.2 square kilometers, while others grew by 6.1 square kilometres, according to the TOI report. In addition to changes in size, slums became denser after 2010. John Friesen, the lead author of the study, explained, “While slums grew in area in the first decade, they densified in the second.”

Vistara's last flight: Why Indian aviation remains a two-plane race?
While more and more Indians take to flying even as the government builds airports at a breakneck speed to connect small cities and remote places, India's aviation sector remains dominated by just two big players who hold between them more than 90% of the market share. IndiGo's market share rose to 63 per cent in September while the overall domestic market share of Air India Group comprising Air India, AIX Connect and Vistara touched 29.2 per cent. While Akasa Air's market share stood at 4.4 per cent, that of SpiceJet was at 2 per cent. As Vistara folds up into the Air India Group today, the number of full-service carriers in the fast-growing Indian aviation space will come down to just one from five in a span of over 17 years. In the last 12 years, three Indian airlines Kingfisher, Jet Airways and Go First went bankrupt. Also Read: A shake-up in Indian skies: Vistara bows out, IndiGo goes premium
