Booking Research social reports Department Investigations No evidence of 'UFOs or aliens' found by US government, reports Pentagon
UFOs or aliens, attributing most sightings to «ordinary objects» that are the result of misidentification. This conclusion was revealed in a 63-page report titled «Historical Record of US Government Involvement with Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP)» by the Pentagon. The report stated that the Department of Defense's All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) found no evidence of any US government investigation, research, or review panel verifying that a UAP represented extraterrestrial technology. The report is part of the US government's broader public examination of UFOs, or «unidentified anomalous phenomena,» which has included Congress hearings and open discussions with US space agency NASA officials. Despite these findings, US officials acknowledged that the public's perception of alien visits may not be dispelled. The report noted that the proliferation of television programs, books, movies, and internet and social media content focused on UAP-related topics has likely influenced the public conversation and reinforced beliefs within some sections of the population.

UPS security economy Research country strain Xi Jinping sticks to his vision for China's rise even as growth slows
China, Xi Jinping appears imperiously assured that he possesses the right road map to surpass Western rivals. China's economy has lurched into a slower gear. Its population is shrinking and aging. Its rival, the United States, has built up a lead in artificial intelligence. Xi's pronouncement several years ago that the «East is rising and West is declining» — that his country was on the way up while American power shrank — now seems premature, if not outright hubristic.

Nirmala Sitharaman said the government is creating an environment that will allow the country’s intellectual property rights (IPRs) ecosystem to flourish. At the same time, the need to protect the IPRs of innovators has to be balanced with the imperative of using them for the benefit of all, she said, listing the steps taken by the government to bolster research and development (R&D). “We are trying to make them (IPR laws) work as a facilitator, a booster, and not as a barrier to the process of R&D,” Sitharaman said on Saturday, asserting that India’s IP regime remains compliant with the Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) framework of the World Trade Organization.

markets COST FIVE Sustainability Research show Indians finally buying ecofriendly products? Yes, but only if it’s pocket-friendly
This gradual, yet visible, shift in buying behaviour follows several futile attempts by companies to push sales of such products that either cost more or failed to spell out a clear value proposition for the consumer. Data by market researcher GfK India showed the contribution by volume, or number of units sold, for energy saving ACs with four and five stars has moved from 14% in 2019 to 27% in 2023. But for a category like refrigerators, which wouldn’t inflate power bills as much as an air-conditioner would, the volume contribution of such models remains flat at 10%.

He was addressing a 'Viksit Bharat' (developed India) event at Pune's Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute.
