MUMBAI : India-focused venture capital fund Gruhas, backed by Nikhil Kamath, and creator marketplace Collective Artists Network have launched Gruhas Collective Consumer Fund (GCCF) to back emerging consumer-focussed companies. GCCF will raise and deploy ₹150 crore initially, with both Gruhas and Collective Artists contributing an equal amount to the fund, and subsequently securing additional fund from external sources. The fund will seek to sustain an average deal size of about ₹8 crore ($1 million) each.

F&O ban list: A total of twelve stocks have been put under the ban for trade under the futures and options (F&O) segment on Wednesday, January 10, by the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The securities have been put on ban under the F&O segment as it crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit (MWPL), according to the NSE. However, the stocks will be available for trading in the cash market.

Instagram's parent company Meta on Tuesday announced that it is including security measures to the accounts of teen users for protecting them from content that is age-inappropriate from the search results as well as the explore pages on Facebook and Instagram. Further, it will notify the teens to update their privacy settings. This comes amidst the lawsuits from states surrounding child safety and an approaching hearing before the Senate. The social media platform will be removing content around suicide, eating disorders, and self-harm, from the accounts of the teen users on Facebook and Instagram. This will be followed even if such content is being shared by a user whom they follow. Meta has further added that though 'self-harm' content can help to reduce the stigma around these issues, it is a rather complicated topic and is not suitable for all young people.

The SEC has not approved Bitcoin ETFs, as reported earlier on the SEC's official X account. SEC Chairman Gary Gensler said the account was «compromised.»

Narendra Modi and visiting United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a roadshow in Ahmedabad on Tuesday evening ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit scheduled to be inaugurated in Gandhinagar on Wednesday Before the roadshow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi -- who is on a visit to his home state to participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Summit--welcomed the UAE president at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. Besides, PM Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra and some other senior officials of the state were present at the airport to welcome the UAE president. The UAE President was accorded a ceremonial guard of honour upon his arrival.
